Today, we’ve filled a diabetes medication for a patient that recently transferred to our pharmacy. They have 2 insurance plans and are eligible for a manufacturer coupon to bring down the copay. They have not filled this medication in weeks due to the cost. They have been picking and choosing which medications they will fill each month. They were paying over $100 a month at another pharmacy for this 1 medication. Today, they left with the medication with no cost to them.

The previous pharmacy was only billing the coupon card after it was presented and not their health insurance as well. The same was also being done to their Continuous Glucose Monitor. Another $77+ monthly copay was brought down to $36. A new glucose reader was prescribed, a $45 copay. We informed them they can download an app and don’t actually need the reader.

Almost $190 was saved today and they will continue to save $140+ a month. They will no longer have to choose between filling their diabetes medication or their blood pressure medication.

We are now up and running with the OTC Network. If you have an OTC card with the "OTC Network" symbol on it we can now accept this as a form of payment for eligible health and wellness items.

Please check with your company catalog to see which OTC items are eligible for purchase using the card. If we don't have it in stock we can look to order it for next business day.

Tick Bite Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Now Available!

Tick bites are common and can lead to Lyme disease if not managed appropriately. The Tick Bite Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Workflow helps identify patients who may benefit from a single-dose prophylactic treatment following a high-risk tick bite.

1. Access to Care, our new pharmacy walk-in health clinic is now live. Instead of making a doctor’s appointment or going to urgent care, you may get evaluated by the pharmacy. Services will be $50 plus any copay on the medications. All first time users of the program will receive $15 off the price of the evaluation through the end of 2026. 2. The GLP-1 Bridge Program starts tomorrow July 1st. Any Medicare patients looking for coverage of weight loss medications such as Wegovy or Zepbound can now get covered for a $50 copay, however you will need a prior authorization from the doctor.
