When reality does not match our expectations, we become upset. Think about it for a second. This is about true reality, not the illusions we create in our minds. Accepting our reality is critical to prevent suffering.

But what are these expectations? How often are we in a bad mood because of them? Or throw a tantrum because of expectations. Suffering stems directly from our expectations. When we hold expectations, we attach certain requirements to people and situations. At that point, we stop seeing life as it truly is. Instead, we focus on an uncertain future, which leads to frustration. Expectations are hefty burdens that obstruct our peace.

Releasing the desire to control outcomes or to gain something in return opens the door to true freedom. Think about your life, your relationships, your upbringing... Your limitations are not due to the experiences but the expectations.

What are you expecting in this moment? Are you hoping for a call from someone, a job opportunity, more likes on social media, a promotion, a financial boost, or waiting for someone to marry you? People go to college and expect to take make a lot of money> We can easily spend years longing for others to connect, reply to our messages, or meet our expectations, which frequently brings unnecessary pain.

Instead of expecting, we should simply wait, which has the power to transform us. By dropping our expectations, we enjoy life more fully. If we don’t expect, we won’t experience frustration. Letting go of the need to control outcomes or expect something in return is crucial for freedom, peace, and happiness. No expectations: Live, Beloved, Live: Wellness Begins Inside

Got a job? It’s basically what we do for a company or someone and get paid for it. Some say it stands for just over broke. There are about 3.6 billion people with jobs around the globe. And in the US, around 9.3 million people have more than one job at the same time.

Over a lifetime, the average American switches jobs about 12 times, sticking with one employer for roughly 4.3 years. We job hop to increase our salary, escape toxic work cultures, or secure better career growth. All the while complaining...

Is that all there is to life? Job switching? Do you enjoy doing it? Are you practicing a just-over-broke existence? Or fulfilling meaningful work? From the age we can work, some even younger, it's all about doing something to get paid. We want to buy stuff. Our life becomes a job hustle that is repeated over and over.

Meanwhile, we're becoming drained. Some even sick and miserable. What do you do when you're not at your job? Some people don't know what they're doing if they're not at their job. This is a sign that you are disconnected from yourself!

That's because you are not connected to your natural potential. And that can only happen through self-discovery, self-realization, and love. What is it that you truly love? We're all designed for a specific role in life, our own purpose. It's because of our conditioning that finding it seems impossible.

But it's possible. First, we must understand ourselves. In your heart, what do you have a passion for? This is not about work. Because work is a vital part of our transformation.

Its purpose. To do that requires positivity amid the challenges and uncertainties in life. It's then that we realize that our experiences are leading us to something better. Discover yourself! What do you enjoy? Choose happiness.

Love Yourself

Are you driven by your ego, or are you a narcissist? Has anyone ever called you a narcissist? Do you understand the difference? Nowadays, the term narcissism is often used, but what do these conditions actually mean?

It's all fake. The ego is not our true self; rather, it's our false self. In contrast with narcissism, we become infatuated with a reflection of ourselves rather than our authentic selves. This is because we don't know who we truly are. And so the ego emerges.

Many of us encounter egos in our relationships. The ego can be a source of turmoil. Both ego and narcissism involve comparing ourselves to others and mimicking their behavior. However, as we discover our true selves, the influence of the ego begins to diminish.

When we learn to love and accept ourselves, egotism and narcissism start to fade away. Unfortunately, many of us have lost our sense of self-love. Only by embracing self-love can we genuinely love others.

Loving and accepting yourself goes hand in hand. Take some time to embrace your true self. Let go of the posturing, pretending, and profiling. Discover who you are?

Happy Full Blue Moon. Resist ignoring it. Let's be honest, our medical, educational, legal, and social systems are broken. We have to decide how we want to live. Stress or relax? Angry or peaceful? This rare full moon is super potent. It's spiritual. The Full moon embodies a deep sense of calm, peace, and awakening. This rare full moon is the second one in the month.

Become enlighten. Focus on cleaning up. Get rid of the junk in your place and in your head. Get rid of anything that doesn’t serve a purpose.

Use this time to meditate, as the lunar energy connects our mind and body for some serious reflection. Don’t keep going through life feeling unhealthy, stressed, and chaotic. Let go of the heartbreak, disappointments, and anything that doesn’t feel like love. Remember to value yourself.

Just take a moment to let your body relax, breath by breath. Inhale through your nose and notice how your lungs fill up—feel your belly rise. Then, smoothly exhale through your nose, letting your belly drop naturally as the air leaves your lungs. Just let it flow; let your breathing beat naturally in and out. Remember, healing is to be whole.

Have you ever been triggered? What are your triggers? Triggers are real. When someone pulls the trigger on a gun, it activates the lever that releases the internal mechanism, specifically the hammer or striker. This then strikes the firing pin, discharging the bullet. Similarly, people can use certain words or body language that trigger the release of stress hormones, such as cortisol, like a bullet. Often, the person who triggers you is unaware or indifferent; they simply want to express their point. It doesn't matter how it sounds or the potential harm it may cause.

So, in the midst of the firing, they call you names, insult your intelligence, psychoanalyze you, and use words that may be triggering. They criticize you. When you know who you are, none of that matters.

This isn't really about them; it's about you. How do you stop getting triggered by what other people do? How do we reach a place where we aren't the ones getting hit by someone's baggage? Where things don't blow up on us?

A lot of folks are dealing with their own emotional baggage and mental health struggles, and it can be heavy. Don't get caught up in their drama. Not everyone needs to be understood, so just focus on respecting yourself.

We’ve all gotten caught in a back-and-forth with someone. Your heart races. You get mad. But what if you could never be triggered again? Begin by asking yourself, "Will this inspire me or drain me?"

Connect with a healing practice. Protecting our energy is crucial. First, understand that not every battle is worth fighting. Second, safeguard our life force. Stop wasting your time on things that don’t matter. Lastly, know that what truly matters is our healing, peace, and purpose.

Two types of people make up this world: those who do and those who don’t. The ones that don’t make up the majority—they are the 95%. They’re the ones who wallow in self-pity, succumb to difficult experiences, and easily give in. Many of them blame their past, their age, or even others for why they haven’t done anything with their life.
With a "don't" mindset, we don't take personal responsibility and accountability.

Instead, we complain and whine. We waste our lives. Of course, there are a boatload of childhood reasons why we are that way. But the beauty of life is that we can always change.

Now, the few people who "do" realize that life is a gift from the Divine. The way we live our lives is our gift to the Divine. When we don’t do anything, nothing happens. Although many hardships may happen in their lives, we transcend them. The doers take personal responsibility. They are grateful. Doers don’t fulfill the expectations of others because it's a form of su***de. Doers live, not merely exist. Doers do not postpone their lives as if they have forever. With every breath, they live. They are rare; they do what they say—words and actions align flawlessly. Doers know who they are!

Who are you? Understand this: our brains are really good at changing and adapting. This ability means our brains constantly rewire themselves and create new connections. Our magnificent brains adjust how they perform based on what we're learning, going through, or even when we get hurt.

Be a doer. Feel gratitude. Your ancestors made sacrifices for you. What we need to do inside of us. Meditate. Embrace the gift of life.

Warning: Your job may be harming your health. Yet, we do it every day. Just like some people smoke knowing that it causes cancer. Our daily trek to work is stressful. Chronic stress leads to physical and emotional collapse. Signs of distress include chest tightness, loss of passion, obesity, lack of confidence, anxiety, avoiding work messages, resentment, low motivation, constant gossip, and feelings of powerlessness.

Stress kills! Still, we often endure harmful work surroundings for the sake of survival or material benefits. But this comes at a high cost.

When I was in high school, my teacher's husband went to work and died. It was devastating. We aren't created for constant stress. So to cope, we engage in a poor diet, alcohol, drugs, or excessive caffeine. It turns out that over 50% of people aren’t happy with their jobs. And to make things even more serious, almost 3 million workers lose their lives on the job every year. But then, around 100,000 to 110,000 of us decide to quit our jobs every single day.

What if our workplaces are just like plantations? Supervisors are really just overseers. In these environments, we're treated like we're nothing more than a source of profit. This leads to serious health issues like high blood pressure, anxiety, and even heart attacks. Those who quit often feel like they've escaped, but they're still on a journey to truly free themselves.

True yoga teaches us not to harm ourselves, to practice self-care through healthy eating, hydration, and emotional well-being. It encourages wellness by cleansing out negative emotions like hate, anger, and greed. We heal; we love ourselves.

Stop selling your life. Don’t die for a paycheck. Your life is valuable. Prioritize your well-being- walk off the plantation. Find your true calling. Transition yourself into living with love and meaning.

Be happy!

Are you happy? Did you know happiness is your birthright? That’s right, with all the stuff that goes on in our life, we deserve to be happy. But first, we need to find out what happiness is. Is it having a lot of money, power, prestige, a 401K, a financial planner, a spouse, a car, a house? Is happiness how we look? Is happiness being successful? Not at all. Some of us think we’re happy because of these things, but we’re not. Like artificial intelligence, it's artificial happiness. Many people confuse happiness with external stuff.

Happiness is being in the present moment, not in the past or the future. It's an awakening to the fact that our misery is created by the way we act, our habits, jealousy, and inner conflicts. No job, no person, no vacation can make us happy. Amazon does not sell happiness. Sure, people will hurt us, disappoint us, and even confuse us. It's not that we won't be tested, but we can learn to stop being affected.

Happiness is our natural state. So, are you happy? If so, congratulations. If not, claim your happiness. It's not what someone is doing to us, saying to us or our situation; it's what we’re doing to yourself. Our unhappiness is coming from our choices. We’re free to choose happiness or unhappiness.

Happiness is a part of our cells just like water, inorganic ions, and organic molecules. In this moment, choose happiness. It's right there---within us. When you do, you're no longer a slave, but a master. Practice truth, love, and self-awareness, and be happy.
