Walter Witschey and Kyle Mongeau received the Healthcare Innovation Innovator Award on behalf of Penn Medicine for the Penn’s AInSights platform at the Healthcare Innovation Summit at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C. The presentation by Walter and Kyle was well received, prompted great conversation about AI deployment strategies, and potential partnerships with other healthcare organizations that seek to deploy AI in the clinic.

Penn Medicine had the opportunity to present on "Integrating Generative AI Into Practice: Insights for Healthcare Leaders” at Epic’s User Group Meeting. Anna Schoenbaum, Srinivas Sridhara, and Sri Adusumalli shared Penn Medicine’s AI journey, highlighting planning and ex*****on, governance and risk, and early wins and lessons from the field. They emphasized the importance of building the right cross-functional teams to get started on this AI journey.

Penn Medicine is Celebrating LGH’s 2025 CEO Award Winners: Behavioral Health Center
The CEO Award is Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health's highest institutional honor, publicly recognizing teams and leaders for extraordinary achievements that support our mission, vision, and values. This year's award goes to the exceptional team behind the Behavioral Health Center, a transformative initiative addressing the urgent need for accessible mental health care in Lancaster County. Launched in January 2025, the Behavioral Health Center combines two groundbreaking services: a Crisis Walk-in Center (CWIC) and Interventional Psychiatry. Since its opening, the CWIC has served many patients, offering immediate care for individuals in crisis—diverting them from emergency departments and connecting them with appropriate treatment and support. Services include stabilization, counseling, and connections to community-based care.
