One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that choosing hospice means giving up🤍

It doesn’t.

Hospice isn’t about giving up on someone. It’s about giving them more support, more comfort, more dignity, and more quality time.

It means shifting the focus from curing an illness to caring for the whole person.

As a Death Doula, I’ve seen hospice help families spend less time managing medical chaos and more time making memories, sharing stories, holding hands, and simply being together.

Hospice isn’t about choosing death.

It’s about choosing how you live the time you have left 💜
