This year’s group gathered at Wills Eye Hospital for an inspiring lecture and a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and explore ophthalmology.

Exciting work from our team, recently published in JAMA Ophthalmology.

This study explores how artificial intelligence smart eyeglasses may help individuals with low to no vision identify and describe objects in their surroundings. The technology showed strong accuracy in identifying common objects, while also highlighting areas where improvement is still needed.

We are proud to contribute to research that looks toward the future of vision care and assistive technology.
