Ambar's training also includes giving patient education, reviewing nutrition resources, and enjoying her foodservice experience. Every task is helping her build the skills she needs to become a Registered Dietitian. 👩‍🏫📚🫂

A Peek Behind the Nutrition Curtain 👀

Sebastian May is completing his outpatient rotation, where he primarily observes patient interactions and nutrition counseling sessions at the GI, Bariatric Surgery, Oncology, and ALS units. 🧑‍🏫 💯

Sebastian follows registered dietitians, gaining insight into patient-centered care, education strategies, and clinical decision-making. 🏥

He demonstrates engagement by asking thoughtful questions, reflecting on cases at the end of sessions, and learning how to apply evidence-based nutrition practices in real-world settings. 🔬

Aramark dietetic intern, Whitney Taylor, joined her preceptor, fellow Colorado dietetic interns, and the Colorado Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for policy day at the Colorado State Capitol. 👨‍⚖️⚖️

They talked to several legislators about the importance of state licensing for RDs and community nutrition education. 🫂👩‍🏫
