For years, I thought being consistent meant being a machine.
Workouts on the calendar? Done.
Meals prepped? Always.
Bad week? Push through anyway.

Miss a day and I was convinced I'd "fallen off" and needed to start completely over... Here's what took me way too long to see: the problem wasn't me. It was the standard. I was trying to run a rigid, all-in routine through a life full of kids, work, hormones, travel, and the occasional bad night of sleep.

Of course it kept breaking.
