Laura Ellis is an Arizona Licensed Acupuncturist with a specific interest in diseases of aging. These include arthritis, pain, emotional health, bladder problems, lung, and ocular diseases. She is certified in Micro Acupuncture 48 which treats diseases of the eyes including dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, hyperopia (farsightedness) to name a few. She has a love for senior citizens!

She believes to achieve optimal wellness there must be a balance physically, mentally and emotionally. Laura also treats acute and chronic pain, digestive issues, fertility, headaches, bell’s palsy, anxiety, stress, insomnia, and preventative care.

Laura became interested in acupuncture when her niece had chronic debilitating migraines which caused her to miss over 100 days of school. After treating with multiple specialists and physicians, John Hopkins Hospital recommended acupuncture. She went from daily migraines to migraines once or twice a year. This intrigued Laura who already had an interest in holistic medicine to pursue a degree in Acupuncture.

Laura received her Master of Acupuncture from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA). In addition, she studied at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China in their TCM training program in Acupuncture, Tui Na , and TCM Internal Medicine. She traveled and practiced in Rishikesh, India where she treated the underserved population.
