Vitalyst Health Foundation has been an Arizona nonprofit corporation since 1907. Luke’s Medical Center and St. Luke’s Hospital in Tempe, Arizona.

Vitalyst Health Foundation is on a mission to connect, support, and inform efforts to improve the health of communities in Arizona through partnerships, including capacity building resources and grant support to organizations who share our mission. For most of its existence, the nonprofit operated one or more hospitals in the Phoenix metropolitan area, including St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center

in Phoenix, Arizona and Tempe St. In 1995 all hospital facilities were sold to OrNda HealthCorp and the nonprofit converted to an independent health foundation known initially as St. Luke’s Charitable Health Trust (1996-2000), then as St. Luke’s Health Initiatives (2000-2016) before changing its name in March 2016 to Vitalyst Health Foundation.

Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) is an organization doing important work to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community.

From providing safe shelter to helping people move toward permanent housing, CASS is working every day to create pathways from homelessness to stability. That work depends on continued community support.

We’re grateful to have Gabe represent Vitalyst on Inside the Issues: Affordable Housing in Arizona, hosted by Clean Elections. Bringing together diverse voices for thoughtful, nonpartisan conversations helps build a shared understanding of the issues that impact communities across our state.
