Light Houses. Let's look at the metaphor. We all need support. Sometimes, we need help with our emotions, or our accountability, or our home.

I recently had an online client who is a singer/song writer tell me she was stuck . She had made a CD with some famous people we won't name. She has a website. She on all accounts felt like she had accomplished her goals. However, she wanted to write more songs and was feeling down about herself.

With in about 4 sessions, what had seemed to have been stuck creatively opened up. She finally wrote again, and is so happy.

I was a part of a really cool girls camp this past weekend. I lead 3 classes/workshops for an hour each that focused on meditation, visualization and the creative process. It was so fun to be a part of. Helping the community know how to manage feelings is so important to me. Releasing and replacing is key to moving our emotions and feelings. Understanding the mind, heart connection only helps all of us. Learning how non verbal communication is 80% of our communication is key to recognizing and self witnessing. Learning these tools can help manage any sickness. Believe me I know first hand.

I think this is so important to realize. Many of us have been taught that self-care is getting time alone, manicures, pedicures, massages, facials. Isn’t really all the things that make you a healthy human. Our humanity is literally dying. Take responsibility of ourselves for our communities. We need each other. Emotional health is so important. Finding the time to sit with emotions and work through tough things is so healing. It is a life long journey. It takes compassion and love for yourself and others. It looks different for everyone. If you tend to say “yes” to most things learn to say “no” and vise verse. Challenge and accept yourself. .
If you haven’t seen TOP GUN go see it. So many analogies and life lessons in this one.
