And we wonder why we’re staring at the ceiling at 3 AM, mentally compiling our to-do list for Tuesday, Wednesday, and next fall. 🥴

I used to be queen of the 2 AM panic attack, convinced I’d forgotten something critical. One night, I shot upright, heart pounding, sure I’d left the garage door open (I hadn’t).

It was my body screaming, “You’re running on fumes, lady!”

That constant low hum of anxiety during the day was manifesting as a full-blown emergency in the quiet of the night. It felt deeply personal, but it was really just my nervous system in overdrive from all the daytime demands.

Yeah, that used to be my Tuesday, Wednesday, and basically every other day.

I remember trying to “manifest” a good night’s sleep once by whispering affirmations to my pillow.
Spoiler alert: the pillow remained unsympathetic, and 3 AM still hit.

It was a cycle of feeling overwhelmed just thinking about my to-do list, which only made sleeping less likely.
You know the drill, right? That mental hamster wheel just spinning and spinning, even when all you actually want to do is recharge.

Turns out, my pillow wasn’t the problem (shocking, I know). The real culprit was a tangled mess of unspoken worries and unaddressed stressors that built up during the day.
