As I embark on a new chapter in life, I came to some of the biggest realizations about life and health...and many come from loss and numerous setbacks over the last handful of years.
The main realization is that our time on Earth is limited, and we have to live courageously and intentionally. What I learned through my deep spirituality work is that we are here to find our path back to God by transcending the pull of material gratification and loving all life equally (since we are a part of everything and everything is a part of us). We chose to come to this realm to entangle our eternal spirit with matter (incarnation)...so that we can evolve our consciousness by deciding to choose love.
And, how this ties to health is that oftentimes, disease is a sign of misalignment between what we truly want/who we are and what we are creating and experiencing in our reality. More than physical, disease is mostly mental, emotional, and spiritual (disconnection from the divine). We have to take care of our inner world and needs! When it comes down to it, all work is internal and is reflected in our external reality.
In my own life, I've followed the physical health route intentionally for many years (detoxing, eating very healthy, and living a nature-loving lifestyle), but I've still felt weighed down by certain traumas and obstacles that depleted my energy and created circumstances where I retracted instead of expanded. I'm sure most can relate!
Losing my mom last year was a true wake up call to follow my heart fully in all areas of life. And that's what I want for you! You get to write the verses of your "Earthly song"...
When you lose what's most important in life, it cracks you open to the reality of things. So, after some contemplation and planning for over a year, I am moving continents (tomorrow!) and rebuilding every area of my life with purpose and grace. Life is a gift, and I encourage you to take time and reexamine yours!!
Truly, health is the alignment of the spiritual, mental, and emotional with the energetic blueprint of the body. Which means that feeling content in life is more important than eating the perfect diet.
