The finished products are the pretty part. 😂💙
But before any of that, there are supplies to unpack, inventory to check, bottles to organize and a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

This is one of those little parts of running Underneath the Makeup that normally doesn't make it onto the feed.
But I'm going to start showing y'all more of the real work behind the brand, not just the finished product.

Supplies coming in means unpacking, checking everything, organizing it and getting ready for what's next.

Growing up, did anybody else hear that Melanin people didn't need sunscreen? 👀
I definitely want to talk about this one because it's a beauty myth that has been passed around for a long time.One beauty myth that still gets passed around is that darker skin doesn't need sunscreen.
Yes, melanin provides some natural protection from UV rays—but that doesn't mean our skin can't be affected by the sun.
Sun protection still matters, especially when you're trying to care for concerns like uneven skin tone and dark spots.
And sunscreen isn't just something to think about when you're going to the beach. It's part of taking care of your skin on regular days too.
Healthy skin isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about understanding what your skin needs and making informed choices about how you care for it.

Sometimes when you're looking at your hair every day, you don't notice the changes happening.
Underneath the Makeup products were part of his hair-care routine during this journey, and seeing the pictures side by side really puts the progress into perspective. 💙
No two hair journeys are exactly alike, but consistency matters.

Our Hair Growth Serum has a broader blend of oils, while our Strengthening Hair Growth Serum was created around a more focused blend that includes batana and pumpkin seed oil.
