My oldest daughter is sooo excited about a new local açaí bowl and smoothie business, . We were one of the first 50 people in line on opening day and got free bowls! We just went again this week with a few friends for some fun and a treat. Summer is short, gotta have fun! ☀️☀️☀️

We ate at this amazing restaurant in February. It's not only extremely allergy aware but also located by a beautiful marina in Southern California.

Little Guy got roast chicken, potatoes and green beans. Plus a chicken sandwich to take home for dinner. We both also loved the lavender lemonade.

Looking forward to going back again! Thank you Noble Bird Rotisserie for your allergy friendly food!

I was excited to snag an allergy friendly YumEarth gingerbread house kit…they sold out quickly! However this is how it turned out. Unfortunately the roof kept sliding down. We then tried refrigerating the icing to make it thicker but no luck.

Any of my fellow allergy parents have any luck with these? My son would rather not use glue so he could still eat it (the fun of eating it, especially when you have allergies!).

Sad that this didn’t work out.😔

Tried to mimic the mummies in a recent issue of magazine. Made an easy vegan dough from and wrapped it around organic hot dogs. Although my kids love the store bought dough from a tube, I cringe every time I look at the ingredients and remind myself it's easy to make dough! We paired this with roasted veggies and broccoli which made it a somewhat healthy meal. But overall, it was just fun for Halloween. 🎃 Oh, and can you believe my 2 year old made these mummies? True story!

Time to make the doughnuts 🍩Love the recipe for doughnuts from 🍩 Easy and quick. Melted chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in the microwave and dipped the doughnuts in to make two different kinds. My daughter without food allergies said they were better than Dunkin' Donuts, so I'll save this recipe for future use!!

Wookie cookies anyone?🍪Wish we could share...truly! But we're trying to get through this tough time of social isolation with a little fun. We planned for this Star Wars themed dinner last week with the kids. Little Guy wanted these vegan chocolate chip "Wookie cookies" he found online (made with chocolate chips) and chocolate covered light sabers (made with white chocolate and food coloring). I also added easy hot dogs and fruit and veggies, all themed. A balance of healthy and not!!🍓Scroll over for more pics and the menu.🌳May the 4th be with you.🎥💫✨⭐️

I'm always trying new recipes for my kiddos on the weekends. I have more time to do so on the weekends now that we have to stay home all the time! My kitchen is stocked with oats right now so I tried these oatmeal muffins from . They're and can be made . 👍 from our family of 5!!

Did you have a good Easter weekend? Although times are tough for, well, the whole world right now, we're trying to focus on the goodness in our lives. Taking time to dye egg-free Easter eggs (bought online ) with our 3 littles was a good start. These eggs don't hold color as well as traditional eggs, but we still had fun painting and putting jewels and stickers on them. Looking forward to more crafts and sunshine filled spring days ahead ☀️💐🌺☀️
