The swimming cobra 🐍 because my spinal extension, scapular stabilizers, & shoulders in end range are all weak, which has caused reoccurring neck pain for years. The time has come to uproot the cause, even if it’s uncomfortable. I’m using the cobra position to create greater full body tension which gives me access to bigger ranges of motion. This is the kind of movement you never want to do because it takes so much presence and focus, but precisely because of that it’s guaranteed to take your mind off of whatever you were worrying about.
