🎨 Artistry in Action: Our Legacy Residents Shine! 🌟
Our creative legacy residents have been hard at work turning ordinary materials into stunning masterpieces! Using a beautiful combination of frames, black fabric paint for the "leading" lines, and vibrant colored inks mixed with clear glue, they hand-crafted their very own custom faux stained-glass art. The results are absolutely breathtaking, capturing the light and filling our space with brilliant color and joy. We are so proud of their focus, talent, and artistic spirit! 🖼️✨

Our Independent Living residents channeled their inner artists during a paint class hosted by a former art teacher, creating their own abstract horses! Utilizing vibrant colors and forest themed decals, each abstract horse reflected everyone's diverse expression of creativity. Along the way, many shared heartfelt stories and memories of living on a farm, surrounded by horses and other animals. The class served as a beautiful reminder of art bringing memories to life! # CommunityCares

Another memorable Cultural & Heritage meal for the books! Our Independent Living residents were beaming with joy as they spent a wonderful afternoon indulging in a delightful Mexican-themed feast! The meal was such an amazing opportunity for residents and family to simply enjoy good company as well as celebrate the beauty that coming together as a community can bring.

Our Independent Living residents had a wonderful time getting creative making DIY Key Holders alongside their dear friend Michelle!
They brought to life old CDs by adding a touch of color with paint and decorating them with miniature garden accessories to create beautiful masterpieces that reflected their own unique styles.
Watching their imaginations take flight while sharing laughter and love throughout this project truly made this activity a memorable experience for everyone.

Our Legacy residents spent a wonderful afternoon crafting a cozy kitchen classic: Homemade Crockpot Peach Butter! The aroma of sweet peaches and warm spices filled the entire community while the butter slow-cooked to perfection. Once ready, residents rolled up their sleeves to safely can and jar the batch so we can preserve that fresh-picked flavor. We cannot wait to use this delicious peach butter in future baking activities and morning recipes

🌻 Creativity is in Full Bloom at Legacy!🖌️
Our wonderful residents recently tapped into their artistic sides to create stunning Sunflower Art using a unique technique—Q-tips! By bundling and dipping Q-tips into bright yellows and deep browns, they painted beautiful textured petals and seeds. The results are absolutely gorgeous and full of cheerful summer energy. We love seeing our community try new creative mediums together. Fantastic job, everyone!
