Therapeutic Massage by Tiffany Krueger

Therapeutic Massage by Tiffany Krueger Welcome ALL! πŸ‘‹πŸ» I have over 14 years of Massage Therapy experience-2012 grad. I specialize in Deep Tissue & Myofascial Release Therapy!

In 2017, I opened my business in the same office w Dr. Liddle @
Powdersville Chiropractic! I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2012. I specialize in Deep Tissue (don't let this word scare you, it helps significantly!) & Trigger Point Therapy.
-Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains & sports injuries. It involves appl

ying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles & connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury & reduce tension in muscle & tissue. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow & reducing inflammation.
-Trigger point therapy involves the applied pressure to your painful/sensitive areas in order to alleviate the pain on site & in other areas of the body. I usually combine these into a relaxation massage, so you receive stress relief as well as getting your knots to release, & your muscles loosened up. It is my intention to use massage therapy to support my clients health care plan & to provide quality care for all clients. I work with a variety of conditions & create a customized, outcome-driven treatment plan for each client to address their health needs.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist for 14 years now, specializing in Deep Tissue & Myofascial Release Therapy (sometimes called Trigger Point Therapy), I've noticed throughout the years that there are often a lot of misconceptions whenever people hear the words 'Deep Tissue Massage', because many automatically relate this type of therapy as being painful, but this isn't necessarily always the case. A lot of my clients call it a "good hurt". But, while these particular types of Massage Therapy techniques tend to focus more so on the deeper layers of your muscle tissue, doesn't always necessarily mean that it has to "hurt" for it to be effective! Surprisingly, several of my clients find my sessions to be very relaxing too! I can always tell when the snoring begins not even 20 minutes into the massage session! πŸ˜΄πŸ’€πŸ’†πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€—
Getting rid of all of your painful, stubborn muscle aches & knots is my expertise! (knots are also called trigger points)
Your muscles have multiple layers that all work together. In between these layers is a liquid called hyaluronan that provides stretch & helps with your range of motion. Whenever this liquid becomes thick, sticky, or dries up, it can impact the surrounding muscle tissues. Your myofascial tissue is a network of tissue that spreads throughout your entire body. It connects your muscles, joints, & bones. It also provides support to your organs, helping to keep them in place.β€Œ Therefore, that's why it's very important to receive regular bodywork to maintain & keep your muscles from being restricted & in pain. Even a monthly massage can be considered as regular care for your body!
Sooooo, have you had your monthly massage yet? πŸ™ƒ To schedule, please text me! 864-293-0537 πŸ“²

Deep Tissue isn't always "rough" & "painful" like most think. This type of therapy, along with Myofascial Release Therapy are not only my specialties, but together they work hand in hand. My massage therapy sessions are typically focusing primarily on your problem areas, releasing built up tension, & tightness in your muscles. This type of therapy is aimed to help alleviate pain & fix how your body moves, along with your posture. Remember, not all Deep Tissue massages hurt. I have many clients that actually fall asleep through their whole Deep Tissue/Myofascial Release *aka Trigger Point Therapy* massage sessions! - Deep Tissue massage doesn't always have to be painful to be effective like most think. Also, just because you've gone to other Massage Therapists before & their massages have left you feeling more in pain than before you came in, then you haven't found the right Massage Therapist πŸ™ƒ Each Massage Therapist is different in their own way. We all have different techniques & specialties. But, one thing for sure is that I can guarantee when you leave afterwards, your body will feel like it's been worked on, not just "pet" the whole time.

It's normal to feel sore after a
massage. Especially if your muscles aren't accustomed to massage. This can happen the same way that your body gets used to working out. Massage can also release built-up tension & toxins, leading to temporary soreness that can last about 24-72 hours, especially after a Deep Tissue massage. This occurs because you're stimulating muscles that you may not usually use. This soreness is a physical response to the inflammation as your body heals. Soreness is often a sign your muscles are letting go & recovering.

That your tongue is connected to your toes??? πŸ€” πŸ‘… πŸ‘£
From birth, your tongue is actually connected to your toes through an intricate network of connective tissue known as fascia. If your tongue is not resting correctly in your mouth due to things such as mouth breathing, things can get out of alignment in your mouth & the rest of your body. Tongue posture can lead to a foot imbalance & vice versa because the tongue guides all myofascial continuity structures that run from the inner arch of the foot up through the middle of the body to the tongue & jaw muscles. When the tongue sits on top of the palate, it seals the oral cavity & holds the throat open like a tent. These muscles support the neck, keep your posture straight, help you breathe, & maintain your posture upright. Your tongue also acts as a rudder & support system through a fascial line, & when the tongue is down, we breathe through our mouth, & the head falls forward due to lack of support, which leads to poor posture & increased energy expenditure.
