Now that the dust has finally settled from the Coal Country Tattoo Expo, I’ve had a chance to really sit back and think about everything it took to make this weekend happen and there is absolutely no way I could have done it alone.
From the people who helped plan, set up, tear down, answer a million questions, solve problems on the fly, run errands, keep things moving, and step in wherever they were needed… thank you. Every person who gave their time, energy, support, advice, or even just showed up when I needed an extra set of hands played a part in making this expo what it was.
I especially want to thank Dave Fryman, Sheila Fryman, Miranda Gregory, and Tabitha Begley. You guys went above and beyond for me and for this event. There were so many things happening behind the scenes that most people will never see, and I genuinely don’t know what I would have done without you. Thank you for showing up, putting in the work, dealing with the stress and chaos, and caring about this expo as much as you did. I will never forget it.
To our artists, vendors, staff, volunteers, judges, the Appalachian Wireless Arena, everyone who traveled to be here, everyone who shared our posts, bought tickets, entered competitions, supported the 50/50, or simply walked through those doors. THANK YOU.
Seeing something we worked so hard on actually come to life was surreal. There were stressful moments, long days, very little sleep, and about a thousand things happening at once 😂 but seeing everyone together and seeing people enjoy what we created made every bit of it worth it.
Coal Country Tattoo Expo was built around a love for tattooing, our community, and this little corner of Eastern Kentucky we call home. Seeing so many people come together to support it meant more to me than I can put into words.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in this, supporting us, and helping make the Coal Country Tattoo Expo happen. 🖤
