💜AUGUST IS OVERDOSE AWARNESS MONTH 💜
This month, we honor the lives lost to overdose, support the families and friends who continue to grieve, and stand beside those who are still fighting the disease of addiction.
One of the simplest ways to save a life is by carrying naloxone (Narcan.) Naloxone is a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose, giving someone the chance to receive emergency medical care and another opportunity to choose recovery. Knowing how to recognize an overdose and having naloxone readily available can make all the difference.
At our clinic, we believe that every overdose prevented is another chance at recovery. Every conversation matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every life matters.
