This group experience is designed for men seeking a safe, supportive, transformative healing journey.

Our experienced and compassionate facilitators will guide men through a safe and sacred journey of healing. This experience is designed to help men reconnect with themselves, heal personal trauma, and gain personal insight. This one-day retreat is a life-affirming, personal development event, honoring the best in what men have to offer their own lives and community.

Receiving a diagnosis of cancer, or any chronic illness, creates a flood of emotions and uncertainty. It can be a stark reminder of how fragile life is. It often compels a person to confront their own existential questions. How does anyone reconcile the dilemma they face in what appears to be a bleak future?

Men are more likely to face serious illnesses, including cancer, compared to women. Due to various societal and economic influences, men in the US often neglect their physical and emotional needs, especially when facing a significant illness.

A significant diagnosis of illness can grow to define a person’s life and impose limitations, either real or imagined. It can often create challenges that have a significant impact on the quality of life and on personal relationships.

Often, underlying all these feelings is a sense of fundamental unfairness. It is easy to feel indignation: “I do not deserve this.” For many people, the essential question becomes, “How do I find meaning in a situation that feels hopeless?

Questions can arise about one’s life and future. Those questions can include: How do I reconnect to a sense of myself, my family, and my life? How will I be able to support my family? What about my marriage, my children, my grandchildren? How will my illness impact my ability to work and earn a living? Will I be able to show up for my friends and family?

Asking yourself these questions is the first step to reclaiming your life. Through a structured one-day workshop, our staff can help you begin the process of reclaiming your life.
