A neurofeedback client recently completed his initial block of 20 sessions. At the end of every evaluation, our neurofeedback manager, Anna, asks what the client’s goal for neurofeedback would be. This client identified that he would like to “be calmer.”

Based on the information gathered during his evaluation, an individualized protocol was developed, and specific symptoms were chosen to monitor during training in support of this goal. Neurofeedback sessions began on June 15th, with two sessions per week. After 10 weeks (plus one week off), the results have been amazing!

Agitation decreased 60%.
Anger decreased 67%.
Emotional reactivity decreased 60%.
Rages decreased 50%.
Calmness increased 50%.
Focus increased 12%.

“Stress and frustration have gone down. I generally feel more relaxed and less frustrated. Sleep has improved, and it is generally easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.”

This client will be continuing neurofeedback sessions after a short break for his fall sports season. We wish him the best and look forward to his return!

What turns Monday's into Fundays?

A surprise visit from Chuck and Denzil from the American Legion, Post 184, Piqua with a $10,000 check!

That's right.....$10,000! To say we are beyond blessed is an understatement. No words can truly express our gratitude.

This group has supported us for years. They continue to help us make a difference in so many lives! We call it "Miracles!"

Summer came and summer went. Lot's of miracles happened during the summer with all our programs including, Summer Fun for Brain & Body,

Brain & Body Integration and The Brain Wellness Center. We are now transitioning to fall schedules. In between it all we were able to get the

entire team together for a scrumptious lunch at Las Maria's. We celebrated the amazing summer, enjoyed each other's company, we laughed and filled our tummies. It was a great way to celebrate

our amazing team! Thank you to all who participated in our programs over the summer. It is certainly an honor and our privilege to have the opportunity to work

with you! We are excited to dive into fall with full force! WE ARE TEAM HOPE!

Nicholas School is looking for a patient, compassionate, and experienced photographer to come to our school and take individual portraits of our students.

We are looking for someone who understands that every student is unique and can create a comfortable, relaxed, and positive photography experience for children with a variety of abilities and needs.

💙 What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children and/or individuals with special needs
A patient and flexible approach
Ability to make students feel comfortable and confident
Professional-quality individual portraits
Willingness to work at the students’ pace and accommodate their needs
Ability to photograph at our school location
