Listening to one of my favorite motivational speakers, Les Brown
He quoted Norman Vincent Peale who said ‘Fear is the most subtle and destructive of all human behaviors ‘
He then said “Guard your mind against negative influences. TURN OFF YOUR TELEVISIONS”
No tv here for a year and I am just fine! 😊❤️👍🏻😎

Skullcap casts a calming net of nervine support in a highly stimulating world. It brings peace and restoration to those who are deeply anxious, easily agitated, sleep deprived, or experiencing nervous exhaustion. It relaxes without being overly sedating and is generously gentle—it’s safe for children.

For deep, refreshing sleep, skullcap is one of our best and most favored hypnotic remedies. Stronger than lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) and chamomile (Matricaria recutita), it is on par with both hops (Humulus lupulus) and valerian (Valeriana officinalis) and is often used in combination with these herbs. A strong infusion is generally more sedating than the tincture; drink a cup of the tea about an hour before bedtime—this way you (hopefully) won’t awaken to p*e!

He took out the wonderful catnip I had, some "w**ds" to the unknowing eye, and my flowers I planted last year.

You’ve stepped on it, ignored it, and tried to eradicate it from your lawn. However, this innocuous little w**d is one of the most useful medicines on the planet, just begging to be harvested. There are two major types of plantain in BC, Canada: Lance and Broadleaf. Generally, all 200-plus varieti…

The sticky underside of a calendula flower. The resin that coats the green bracts is highly medicinal—anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and wound healing. Thus, the "petals" (without the green bracts) are a weaker medicine than the whole flowers.
