As we observe Juneteenth, encourages all members of our community to take time to learn, reflect, engage in meaningful dialogue, and celebrate the enduring contributions of African Americans to our nation, our communities, and the field of public health.

May this day serve not only as a commemoration of the past, but also as a renewed call to action — one that inspires us to advance health equity, challenge injustice, and work together toward a healthier and more just future for all.

🎓🎉 “From Day One” is a campaign that captures the full-circle journey of students.

Early in their graduate school experience, students recorded messages about why they chose to pursue public health and what they would want their future selves to remember on graduation day. At Convocation, they watched those messages back for the first time and reflected on how far they have come and all they have accomplished along the way.

Thank you to our graduates for allowing us to be part of this special moment!
