Spotted ourselves on Reddit!
When a thread about speedy deliveries sparked a conversation, we weren’t expecting Tully Tube to steal a few compliments in the comments.
Sleek, thoughtful... honestly, it made our day.

We love seeing that the Tully Tube works for real patients — so much so that they took the time to post about it on Reddit. There’s nothing quite like unprompted, unscripted love from the people who actually use it.
Because at the end of the day, every medication deserves packaging that supports not just the physical side of treatment, but the emotional journey too.

That is the heart behind Tully Tube.

Healthcare systems account for 8.5% of U.S. GHG emissions. For most, the majority of that footprint — 80% at BMC — comes from the supply chain.

Boston Medical Center and Takeda Pharmaceuticals just completed year one of a three-year collaboration to identify and address GHG emissions hotspots across the healthcare system value chain. Their findings point to a clear place to start and paper-based prescription bottles are named as a solution.

Swipe through the key findings. If you’re a health system interested in running your own waste audit or connecting directly with the BMC team, reach out.

Earth Day feels especially meaningful when your work drives measurable results.

We’re proud to share that health systems reduce plastic waste from pharmaceutical bottles by up to 73% just by switching to the Tully Tube. Our work helps our partners back up their own sustainability commitments with quantifiable progress towards a world with lower emissions and less plastic waste.

As we seek to eliminate plastics from healthcare packaging everywhere we can, we’re starting with the Tully Tube, the world’s first paper prescription bottle. Americans fill 6.8 billion prescriptions a year, almost every one in the same amber plastic bottle introduced in 1968 — and fewer than 1% get recycled.

We created the Tully Tube to solve this problem and begin to prove that pharmaceutical packaging does not need to come with such significant tradeoffs for the planet. We’re grateful to see how quickly and eagerly it’s been adopted. The industry is ready for change.

To every health system, telemedicine brand, retail pharmacy, and veterinary practice that has already chosen to make the switch to the Tully Tube: thank you. The bottle is just the beginning.

Don’t be surprised. Your patients might know your packaging better than you do. 👀
As providers, we interact with packaging daily yet naturally tune out the details. Our patients don’t. Every label and every design choice shapes whether they understand, trust, and follow their treatment.

That’s why patient-centric packaging like Tully Tube isn’t just design. It’s an extension of care. So, are we paying enough attention to the touchpoints that matter most?

Grateful to be featured by Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2) as part of their Impact Investing portfolio. We remain committed to eliminating plastics from pharmaceutical packaging supply chains, starting with Tully Tube, the first-ever paper prescription bottle to meet clinical, regulatory, and operational requirements. This recognition from SV2 only strengthens our commitment to keep going and prove that sustainable packaging can work in the real world of healthcare.
