🧡Last Day of 1st Grade🧡

6/4/26 - Today, Maddie closes the chapter on 1st grade and gets ready to begin 2nd grade. Looking back at where this school year started compared to where it ends feels nothing short of incredible.

She began 1st grade going through chemo treatments, facing challenges that no child should ever have to endure. Yet through it all, she showed a level of strength, courage, and resilience that continues to amaze me every single day.

Now, as she finishes the year, she is cancer-free!

This year wasn’t just about overcoming obstacles—it was about living life. She got to enjoy playing basketball and t-ball, and she finally got to start gymnastics, something she had been looking forward to for so long. Watching her laugh, play, learn, and simply be a kid again has been one of the greatest gifts.

Maddie, I am so proud of how far you’ve come. Your determination, bravery, resilience, and positive spirit inspire everyone around you. You have faced more than most people do in a lifetime, and you continue to meet every challenge with a smile and a strength beyond your years.

I can’t wait to see what adventures, friendships, and accomplishments 2nd grade has in store for you. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and keep being the amazing little girl you are.

Congratulations on completing 1st grade, sweetheart. The future is so bright, and I couldn’t be prouder of you. Love you endlessly🧡

Today might seem small to some, but for us it’s huge!! Maddie’s hair is finally long enough to style, so we put in some curl cream and diffused it… and now my girl is rocking a full head of beautiful curls.

After losing her hair 5 times during chemo, seeing her smile while playing with her curls hits different. This is more than hair — it’s healing, strength, and a reminder of how far she’s come. I am so incredibly proud of my brave, beautiful girl and her journey. Watching her confidence grow right along with those curls is everything.

So grateful for this milestone and for every little victory🎗️🧡

🏀Dream Team🏀

Yesterday was one of those moments that stops you in your tracks and reminds you just how far a little girl can come.🧡

Maddie “The Warrior” played in her very first basketball game—and now that her port is finally removed, she gets to do what she’s always deserved to do: just be a kid. Running, laughing, learning, and playing without tubes or hospital rooms in the background.

She did amazing for her first game, soaking it all in, giving it her all… and then she scored her very first basket to end the game. I don’t think there was a prouder mom in that gym.

Watching her out there, strong and determined, I couldn’t help but think about everything she’s overcome to get to this moment. Her resilience leaves me in awe every single day.

So incredibly proud of you, Maddie—of your courage, your heart, and how far you’ve come. I can’t wait to see how you grow, not just as a basketball player, but as the unstoppable little human you are. 🏀✨
(P.S. don’t tell your brothers (Landon and Logan) but you might be better than them at basketball, lol.). Love you boy

Hello friends,
Can’t believe it’s almost 2026! Only 4 days left of 2025—this year really flew by. I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy some quality time with family and friends over Thanksgiving 🦃and Christmas🎄.

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here these past few months, but I’m planning to get back to keeping Maddie’s Awesome Group of Supporters updated regularly. Thanks for your patience and continued support! 🙏💯

✨ Yesterday was nothing short of amazing ✨

Maddie rang the bell — which means she’s officially in remission. After 2 ½ long years, my girl is cancer free. She did it. She fought the hardest battle of her life and she won.

When she was diagnosed on 2/27/23 at just 3 years old, this day felt like it was a lifetime away. In her 6 short years, she’s endured more pokes, prods, and challenges than most adults will face in their lifetime. Yet through it all, she’s shown a strength and resilience that leaves me in awe.

Even though she was too anxious and shy to ring the bell on her own, her brothers were right there by her side. Together, the three of them rang it loud and proud — a moment I’ll never forget.

Today, she reached this huge milestone surrounded by family and friends, with the best support system cheering her on. I cannot thank everyone enough for your encouragement, love, and prayers along the way.

She will still continue with preventative care for the next few years, but with fingers crossed, the hardest part is finally behind her.🧡🎗️

My heart is overflowing — my baby girl is cancer free.
