Just a little life update!

Easton & Kori continue to enjoy life like normal kids🩷. Kori had an 18 month visit last week where they drew labs. This is the longest she had gone with out labs (almost 6 months). Her engraftment came back incredibly stable, and even increase slightly! We couldn’t feel more blessed being able to enjoy our kids away from medical life. It’s a blessing we don’t take for granted.

One way I stay involved and try to give back is through our local RMH here in Pittsburgh. I have joined their Red Shoe Society as well as their Red Shoe Ball Committee to help fundraise, bringing more money into the house! We are very passionate about using our experiences to bring awareness, and to spread hope/positivity to those going through it as well.

HAPPY FIRST RE-BIRTHDAY, PRINCESS KORI!🩷🎉🎀💙🎗️
A re- birthday marks their transplant day, the day they received a second chance at life. Both of the kids get TWO birthday (their real & re bday). This past year was filled with so many special HEALTHY memories that made the hospital days all worth it. Despite having advantages in knowing her diagnosis so early, her fight was not any less than Easton’s. She is so strong and such a fighter. We are so proud of her and where she has come in the last year. We love you, sis!!!🥰

Today, we had Easton & Kori’s (first ever) annual visit together in Cincinnati!!! 💙 Our doctor said they look great. Neither of them are on any medication and both are doing phenomenal. We will get their chimerism labs later in the week/next week. We pray that they will both come back stable, as anticipated. I was really worried about this visit with Easton being at the age he’s at. I anticipated he would be fearful of the pokes and being held down with all of the scans but he proved me completely wrong. He was a total rockstar, laid still for an hour echo, and didn’t even cry while getting an “ouchy”. We are SO proud of them both. With that said, we were fortunate enough to get into the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati for the night which totally made Easton’s trip to cincy. Although he didn’t cry during labs, he did cry when we told him we were going home & not back to the RMH😂. Tomorrow, we celebrate Kori’s ONE YEAR POST BMT!🩷 She has no restrictions now! After Easton, we became pros at finding ways to live a more normal life while still taking recovery precautions. This past year really hasn’t felt too restrictive and has truly flown by! Thank you for all of the continued prayers for our babies and for following along with our family’s journey. Thank you Jesus, for carrying us through & giving us such a special testimony of Your faithfulness! We don’t take this testimony lightly and will continue to share with the world how powerful our God is and the mountains that He can move!

HAPPY RE BIRTHDAY EASTON🎉💙

3 years ago today, Easton received his life saving bone marrow from his dad! Just like any first child, with him, I was just learning how to be a mom. Not only was I learning how to be a mom with the normal basics, I was learning how to become a medical mom. While learning about things like teething, transitioning to solid food, etc.., I was learning how to draw up medication, flush a central line, read and undertstand lab work. His diagnosis taught me how to value the moments, take lots of pictures, and love while you can. I always say Easton walked so Kori could run in her HLH diagnosis/BMT. He was our first miracle baby and made me the medical mom I am today.

Not every HLH case ends up with the outcome we did. This is something I will never take for granted. Each re-birthday is just as special as transplant day. As much as we hated enduring the medical life, we are thankful and feel blessed that God gave us this testimony with both of our children. Our family is living proof of his faithfulness. If our experience helps even just 1 person in their own circumstances, it was worth it. Today, we celebrate 3 years of Easton being healthy! Happy re-birthday to my little man!!💙

Happy 2026!!!!✨

This month is a month of celebrating, as we celebrate both Easton & Kori’s rebirthday!! 🎉💙🎗️.

Easton will be 4 years old next month & 3 years post transplant in just a few days! He started school this past September, and absolutely loves it. He loves all things animals, and music! He loves to be silly & makes us laugh all day long. Medically speaking, we have his annual appointment in cincy at the end of the month to do yearly labs. We pray everything will come back as anticipated, normal and stable. Overall, he is thriving and living life to the fullest!

Kori is 17 months old, and will be one year post transplant in a few weeks! She is developmentally right where she should be. She has over 20 words and has not required any therapies after leaving Cincinnati. She is our girly girl! She loves purses and baby dolls. She also loves to dance! She is sooo sassy and has such a big personality in such a little body. Medically, Kori will follow up with Cincinnati at the end of the month as well. This will be the longest she’s gone with out labs (3 months). Her last labs showed her chimerism increased and in a stable place. We are praying these next labs show the same!

Thank you Jesus for the last 3 years of health for Easton and the first healthy year for Kori!!!🙏💙🎗️🩷✨🥰

I am overwhelmed by the generosity of all of our customers. Because of you, we were able to bring a little bit of Christmas joy to the families at the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh. This was certainly a full circle moment having spent both of my kids’ first Christmas in a Ronald McDonald House going through their treatment.
