Caitlin Grater provides therapeutic massage and health coaching for people who are cranky and tired and tired of being cranky. She combines myofascial techniques with deep tissue, Swedish, and energetic work to affect change in the tissues of the body, release problematic holding patterns, and most importantly- reduce stress. She received her training at The Swedish Institute College of Health Sc

iences and is licensed in NY and PA. She is not currently accepting new massage clients. Health coaching centers the process of behavioral change around the clients’ health goals. It is not prescriptive or diagnostic. Caitlin’s passion lies heavily in the nourishing foods area of wellness, however true health needs a balance in food, movement, stress, quality sleep, and a sense of purpose or spirituality. She works with clients to find ways to increase their satisfaction with themselves in these areas. She has coaching certifications from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, and is currently preparing for the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches’ board exam.

5 minute Sunday night breakfast prep for Monday morning.

2 mashed bananas
1.5 cups rolled oats
3 Tbsp PB powder
2 cups milk
Splash of vanilla extract
12 oz frozen mixed berries

And I put some frozen chicken sausages in the fridge to cook faster in the am for a near instant fiber and protein rich meal!

Years ago I had a food blog that I couldn’t keep up with after adding my second kiddo. Priorities shifted. I still spend a lot of effort making sure my family eats well and in balance. But it’s not always photo worthy in our busy days. But every once in a while the beauty and art of food comes back to me!

Greek yogurt mixed with vanilla protein powder
Frozen wild blueberries
Pan sizzled oats in salted butter and brown sugar topper.

Maybe I spoil them, but at least my kids are well fed and I’m grateful to be able to do it.

Hi! I’m nationally board certified as a health coach by NBHWC and live in Bellevue. I decided to try and think of a way to use my skills and knowledge to help in my community, since we are living in a very stressful time. So to start, I’m bringing this community support group to the table . I have a non-judgmental, balanced and evidence based (through both psychology and biology) perspective on most things and want to help inspire my neighborhood to do what they can to improve their health and self compassion!
