Disability Night Out, happening this Saturday, October 10.

It is a nationwide event where disabled people, families, friends, and allies gather at local restaurants and cafes between 6 and 9 p.m. local time. The goal is to bring visibility to ongoing access barriers while enjoying a meal out in our communities.

There are no tickets or RSVPs. You can pick a restaurant, bring your people, and go. Afterward, you can share feedback online to help improve local access.

Check out the new Let It Shine Community Mural on the AdLib building at 215 North Street!

Designed by Ruby Rose in collaboration with AdLib, Common Wealth Murals, Mill Town Foundation, Let It Shine!, Pittsfield Public Schools, and local artists, students, and community members, the large-scale mural reflects the creativity and collective spirit of Pittsfield. The mural was inspired by ideas and artwork from Pittsfield students and was partially painted by community members during the June First Fridays at Five.
