We have a wonderful young lady, Elizabeth Henderson, helping in the pharmacy from Marysville Early College High School. Elizabeth wants to be a pharmacist some day and is shadowing Joe and Tom to learn more. Here is what Elizabeth told us about herself:

"My name is Elizabeth Henderson and I’m a senior at Marysville Early College High School.

I hope to pursue a career in pharmacy. My goal is to combine my love for science with my enjoyment of helping others.

In my free time, I volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes in Marysville as a Sunday School teacher assistant.

For the last four years, I’ve enjoyed cheering for football and basketball games."

Thank you to our good friends Mark and Shelley Robbins and to their daughter Natalie, who works with us, for bringing us back this very cool mortar and pestle with our name on the side of the mortar from their recent vacation. It's nice to know that even as they were off having fun, they were thinking about us.

Shannon has been with us for a short while, but we finally asked her to tell everyone about herself.

"Hi, I’m Shannon! I’m so excited to grow my skills in this new path and use my past experiences in education and healthcare in new ways!

"My favorite days are spent with my boyfriend and our wonderful girls—my bonus daughter and my niece. Whether we are out on an adventure, cooking together, or just enjoying each other's company, family is my biggest joy.

"When I do get a little quiet time, you can usually find me playing video games, painting, reading, or playing with our German Shepherd Lab mix, Nova, and our Mexican Black King Snake, BlackBerry."
