Gloria Steinem played a pivotal role in lobbying for the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).

I bought my first home in October 2000 as an unmarried, single woman at the ripe old age of 29. 👵🏻

It never even crossed my mind that less than 30 years prior, I wouldn’t have been allowed to do that. 😳
