Meet Dr. Om Patel, M.D. Dr. Om Patel is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint replacement. He completed his fellowship at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where he trained with leading experts in advanced hip and knee reconstruction techniques. Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include both non-surgical and surgical treatment of lower extremity joint pain, from traumatic injuries to degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis. He believes in exploring conservative treatment options, including injections and physical therapy, before considering surgery. When surgery is necessary, Dr. Patel offers advanced treatment options, including minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacement, manual and robotic-assisted total knee replacement, and partial knee replacement. He also performs primary and complex revision joint replacement procedures, as well as treatment for periprosthetic fractures. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Patel has published research in orthopedic journals and presented at conferences nationwide. He remains actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Legent is proud to announce that Minesh Mistry has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer and a senior member of its executive leadership team.

In this role, Minesh will lead Legent’s finance organization and play a central role in managing and scaling the business, allocating capital against its highest priorities and shaping and executing the company’s strategy as it expands nationally.

“Minesh is a proven leader who brings a unique combination of investing, operating and company-building experience,” said Jordan Fowler, Chief Executive Officer of Legent Health. “He understands what it takes to scale complex healthcare businesses and translate strategy into ex*****on. His judgment, operating orientation and capital allocation experience will be invaluable as we build on our strong foundation in Texas and Florida.”

Minesh brings more than 20 years of experience as an investor, operator and entrepreneur. He began his career in healthcare investment banking at Morgan Stanley and spent the better part of a decade investing across healthcare at General Atlantic, supporting companies through rapid expansion. He later co-founded a venture-backed company, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer through its acquisition.

Most recently, Minesh was a Principal at The Cranemere Group, where he focused on investments and value creation in healthcare and business services. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School.
