Angel came to Children’s Health for help with substance use. Along the way, he and his care team uncovered something deeper: years of stress and anxiety that he hadn’t known how to manage.

Today, he’s learning new ways to cope, reconnecting with the things he loves and setting big goals for his future.

We recently had Ron Courson and Glenn Henry from Emergency Care in Sports come out to work with our FC Dallas athletic trainers and local first responders, evaluating and elevating our emergency response skills. It was an action-packed two days filled with interprofessional collaboration, skill development, and learning how to be prepared for any emergency. It was an honor to have these experts in our field share their wisdom with us as we continue to strive to provide the highest levels of care.
