I call this my black swan eye. But did not bother me AT ALL during my case today. Which is why robotic surgery is da bomb dot com. And then right after I delivered a baby! And all before 10am!

Hello from Vegas 🎰 !! Will report back soon. 😘

My patient is 100% stronger than me 😂💪 I tried TONE and I was a wimp!

I was chatting with my patient during her session and it was insane to watch how this device engages the re**us muscles. Those are the muscles that separate during pregnancy and lead to the “mom pooch” that we all get 😭

After having beautiful but BIG babies, she was left with significant, bothersome diastasis recti. It affected her in terms of back pain and feeling like she just couldn’t connect with her core. We all feel this when pickup up our babies!! So, this patient was looking for more support in her postpartum recovery.

TONE is designed to create powerful muscle recruitment to complement (not replace) pelvic floor physical therapy and core strengthening exercise. My goal is to help her reconnect with her core, build strength, and feel more confident in her body while taking care of her LOs.

Our future plans include MorpheusBody to address the skin laxity that can accompany pregnancy and postpartum changes.

I love that postpartum care is WAY more than “getting your body back.” That was so 90s tabloids 😂. It’s really more about feeling strong, reconnecting with your core & former self, and supporting your body through the next chapter.

And with that, I’m off to Las Vegas tomorrow for 36 hours for an InMode Users Meeting! I’ll be connecting with providers from across the country, sharing experiences, learning what’s working in practices like ours, and bringing home BIGGER and BETTER ideas for our patients 👏🏻🙌🏻🎉

What questions do you have about TONE or diastasis recti in general (aka DR…but not as beachy 🏝️ as the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴)

In my latest blog post, I share my top 5 reasons why endometrial ablations ROCK when it comes to treating annoying heavy periods. Compared to its alternatives, ablation is such quick & easy procedure and I love that it's hormone-free. I am actually shocked I don't get more requests for it. FYI - you do have to be done with childbearing.

If any questions about ablations please free to DM me so I can help make your period-free dreams come true! XO

Oh the GBS swab…not the most fun you’ll ever have in your life but it’s 5 seconds and then it’s done ✅! So try not to panic 🙀 😘 . It’s really not as dramatic as everyone makes it out to be.

GBS is a normal bacteria 🦠(flora) found in some women but babies can get quite sick 🤒 if exposed to it in the birth canal. So, we screen all pregnant around 36 weeks for GBS with a swab that (I hate to inform you) goes in the va**na and re**um. Sorry, that’s just where the GBS lives!

Promo for my favorite prenatal vitamin Perelel - this vitamin has a probiotic in 3rd trimester that I swear helps reduce rates of GBS. At least it did for me ☺️

Am I right?? Heavy painful periods 🩸 are the bane of our menstrual lives in the 10-15 years leading up to menopause. Very common problem with many solutions! I of course love ❤️ me an endometrial ablation (for reasons I detail in my blog) !! But there are many great options out there. You just have to ask your doctor! While heavy periods may be “normal” it doesn’t mean you have to live with it. Come see me for a consult - this is literally one of my favorite topics to discuss in clinic 😍😍

December is non-stop surgeries! Which I love because helping women surgically is a passion of mine, when other options fail or are not available. Everyone is trying to meet their deductible or finally have time off work to recover, so December means a lot of OR-time for me 💜. If you’re considering hysterectomy, ablation, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, or tubal ligation you just let me know! You know where to find me :)

The masterclass you didn’t know you needed! This causes anxiety among my patients and if I had a nickel for every time I heard “but I’m afraid I’m going to fall!” I’ve been doing pelvic exams for over 10 years and I haven’t lost anyone yet, I promise! Use the edge of the bed as a guide 🥰

Please share with a friend so that can crush their next annual well-woman exam ☺️
