My patient is 100% stronger than me 😂💪 I tried TONE and I was a wimp!
I was chatting with my patient during her session and it was insane to watch how this device engages the re**us muscles. Those are the muscles that separate during pregnancy and lead to the “mom pooch” that we all get 😭
After having beautiful but BIG babies, she was left with significant, bothersome diastasis recti. It affected her in terms of back pain and feeling like she just couldn’t connect with her core. We all feel this when pickup up our babies!! So, this patient was looking for more support in her postpartum recovery.
TONE is designed to create powerful muscle recruitment to complement (not replace) pelvic floor physical therapy and core strengthening exercise. My goal is to help her reconnect with her core, build strength, and feel more confident in her body while taking care of her LOs.
Our future plans include MorpheusBody to address the skin laxity that can accompany pregnancy and postpartum changes.
I love that postpartum care is WAY more than “getting your body back.” That was so 90s tabloids 😂. It’s really more about feeling strong, reconnecting with your core & former self, and supporting your body through the next chapter.
And with that, I’m off to Las Vegas tomorrow for 36 hours for an InMode Users Meeting! I’ll be connecting with providers from across the country, sharing experiences, learning what’s working in practices like ours, and bringing home BIGGER and BETTER ideas for our patients 👏🏻🙌🏻🎉
What questions do you have about TONE or diastasis recti in general (aka DR…but not as beachy 🏝️ as the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴)
