💔🤥I lied… A LOT. I was not honest about so so many things. Mostly because of shame, embarrassment, and fear of the opinions of others.

1️⃣The number of times I stopped at McD’s after work for a double cheeseburger while on my way home to make dinner.
❤️‍🩹(I wasn’t hungry, I just wanted to eat and hate myself for it)

2️⃣The number on the scale didn’t matter because I know
I’m just “big-boned”
❤️‍🩹(If I could just make myself believe there’s nothing wrong with my size because my bones are just big 🤷🏼‍♀️)

3️⃣Making fun of my weight before anyone else could helped me feel better about myself.
❤️‍🩹(Really I was just training my brain that I should always EXPECT ridicule because that’s just how it is when you’re fat)

4️⃣How much space food took up in my thoughts.
❤️‍🩹(FOOD. FoOd. food. When’s my next meal?)

5️⃣Being a tomboy so no one could make fun of me for trying to be pretty knowing that that would never happen.
❤️‍🩹(Why try to be pretty when you’ll always just be ugly - you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig 🐷😖)

💁🏼‍♀️The truth is I needed help. And I’m here today and healthier because I got help. I didn’t do it on my own and you don’t have to either!
