We would like to assure our residents’ families and the community that all residents and staff have been evacuated safely due to flooding precautions

Residents have been safely relocated to our sister facility, Bayou Vista in Bunkie, where they are being cared for by both homes dedicated teams.The safety and well-being of our residents remains our highest priority.

🌧️🎬 Rain? No problem! The residents of Avoyelles Manor and Bayou Vista didn’t let a little wet weather stand in the way of a great time. They headed to Paragon Casino for Senior Movie Day, where laughter, friendship, and a fantastic movie made for a memorable outing. From start to finish, it was a morning filled with smiles, fun, and wonderful moments shared together! A Big Thank You to Paragon Casino for hosting this monthly!!!🍿✨

Our residents and staff were treated to music and entertainment by Jennifer Thibodeaux!

The joy, smiles, and the sound of original music written by Jennifer filled the room as she shared her talent and brought so much happiness to everyone in attendance. Music has a special way of bringing people together, creating memories, and lifting spirits—and this was no exception.

A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer for sharing her gift with our Avoyelles Manor family. We truly appreciate the time, energy, and joy she brought to our home❤️

🍩🎉 National Doughnut Day at Avoyelles Manor! 🎉🍩

Today, our staff and residents celebrated National Doughnut Day with sweet treats, smiles, and great company! National Doughnut Day is celebrated on the first Friday in June and honors a tradition that dates back to 1938.

From glazed to sprinkled, everyone enjoyed sharing a delicious doughnut and making sweet memories together. Moments like these remind us that it’s the simple things—good sweets ,laughter, and time spent together—that make our Home so special.
