Hormones + Weight loss
2nd Tip in regulating your hormones to kickstart your weight loss is focusing in on REAL foods.
Fruits, Vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fish, pork, chicken, beef are all natural sources that are more nutrient dense and not calorie dense like processed and refined foods you find at fast food restaurants, packaged foods, etc.
Bonus here: You get to EAT more while still loosing weight or maintaining your weight because whole foods and lean protein give you a bigger bang for your buck.
A whole container or strawberries vs 13 chips....Most day's I will take the strawberries but chips still have a place in my heart. LOL
The principle I use with my clients is: Focus on your whole foods first and use the 80/20 rule.
I don't know about you, but I have had fun this summer and have had more fun foods than I normally would and I am totally ok with that but I also know the lifestyle I have created and for me to maintain it, I need to be mindful as well.
So every quarter I do a jumpstart sugar detox to balance my hormones, regulate my cravings and reset my body chemistry so I can break any sugar addiction and stay in control of my food.
