To ALA Unit 980 Members... its that time again to reup in another fulfilling year as a American Legion Auxiliary Unit 980 Member.

New 2027 membership cards are now at the bar.

Anyone paying and renewing their membership by September 30th will be entered into a drawing for a free membership. Payment must be in Laurie's hands by Sept 30th The drawing will be held at the October meeting. Again, please don't mail to the state, you may mail to the Legion, but you must still pick up your card. Any questions, please let me know.

Hello American Legion Post 980 Members. I'm sure you know that we have a busy weekend coming up starting with the 9/11
Remembrance Ceremony, which the SAL Squad 980 is hosting along with the help of the ALA Unit 980 and our home Post 980 and we hope you can attend.

The next day Saturday Sept. 12th is the SAL's big Fundraiser, Golf Outing. We could use your help....
If you could donate a dozen or two of cookies, store bought or homemade towards this fundraiser, we would greatly appreciate it and we know the golfers will love it, they love their sweets.

We have relied on our Legion Family to help us out in the past and could use your help again. You can drop them off on Friday Sept. 11th or Saturday morning Sept 12th. You can respond to this post in comment or email me at [email protected]

If you are a Elvis fan, you have to check this one out! Tickets on sale now in advance at the America Legion Post 980, 7824 Saltsburg Rd. Plum Pa. 15239 or can be purchased at the door. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
