Frat Autism

Frat Autism FRAT® offered by Religen detects autoantibodies to FRα which may contribute to neurological disorders

Fratnow's FRAT® measures the presence of antibodies that interact (either block or bind) with the activity of the Folate Receptor A (FRA). FRA is responsible for the transport of folate into certain tissues, most notably the brain, placenta and ovary. These antibodies were detected in numerous individuals with disorders like Cerebral Folate Deficiency, Autism Spectrum Disorders, sub-fertility in w

omen, and pregnant women carrying fetuses with neural tube defects (NTD). FRAT® measures these antibodies which is an indication that folate needs to be delivered in different ways to enter the brain. This early detection of the antibodies leads to early intervention for diagnosis of Autism.
