A baseball swing involves high velocity core rotation and the swing sequence is very important for creating exit velocity and for injury prevention.

What you want:
* Hitter to stand with a balanced stance
* The back heel should stay grounded and drive power into the hips
* The hips will then begin opening
* The pelvis should be stable with the rotation coming from the hips and not from the spine
* The torso follows and the shoulders should rotate in sync with the hips
* Arms then accelerate and the hands and wrists release

Efficient energy transfer goes from the ground ➡️ hips ➡️ torso ➡️ arms ➡️ bat.

Efficiency with this energy transfer creates power and reduces risk of injury. Problems can arise if any part of the sequence occurs too early or too late.

Every player is unique in their own right and being able to spot red flags on video analysis can be important.
