Looking for ways to keep moving this autumn? We’re offering several recreation options!

-Kayaking: This introductory class is for those new to this water sport. 5-6:30pm Tuesdays Sept 15-29
-Open Play Pickleball: 4:15-5:45pm Tuesdays & Thursdays at Parkview
-Open Play Pickleball: 6:15-8pm Wednesdays at Fairview
Register for Kayaking or Pickleball online via Plymouth MyRec anytime or in our office 8am-4pm weekdays (enter PHS Door 18).

-Hall Walking: 3-8pm Monday-Thursday & 3-6pm Fridays
-Track Walking: 5:30-7am Monday-Friday and 3-5:30pm Mondays & Wednesdays
Hall Walking & Track Walking are free, but enter Door 18 & sign in each time at the table located outside the Fitness Center. To access the track, pick up a key card in the Fitness Center.

Daytime Aqua & Daytime Deep may be full, but we still have room in these other aquatic offerings!

-Deep Water: This motivational class uses water resistance for a great workout. You must be comfortable in deep water. You can use noodles or cuffs. 6-6:45pm Mondays & Wednesdays

-Water Walking: This self-paced, self-directed class in shallow water is perfect for those with limited mobility. 6-6:45pm Mondays & Wednesdays

-Aqua Fit & Fun: This new water workout combines easy-to-follow movements, cardio, and resistance exercises to help improve strength, endurance, and energy — all while moving to great music in the pool. 6:15-7pm Thursdays

-Lap Swim: Get regular exercise swimming laps in the Plymouth High School Pool! 7-8pm Mondays & Wednesdays (and/or 7:30-8:30am Saturdays beginning in October)

Meet Lisa Stephan, the new director of Community Ed & Rec!

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Sociology from Lakeland College; Master of Arts in Counseling - Higher Education emphasis from Lakeland University

Experience:
-JET Assistant Language Teacher in Japan, 1 year
-Lakeland College/University, 27 years, serving as Regional Director, Director - Sheboygan Center, Academic Advisor, Student Success & Engagement Coach, Senior Director for Student Development, Director of Career Development, and Director of Student Activities
-Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization Executive Director, 2019-2026

Interests: Cooking, baking (in my sourdough era!), travel, spending time with family. Family includes three adult children (and all attended Plymouth schools!), and married to Matt. And keeping up with 4 crazy miniature schnauzers.

What are you most excited about this year? I am excited to serve the Plymouth community through learning opportunities and developing collaborations throughout the community.

Is there anything else you want people to know? I have been connected to the AFS community for a few years and will be a liaison for Maddelena (PHS) this year.

We are seeking our next Wellness Coordinator!

This part-time position is responsible for developing, implementing, & sustaining comprehensive wellness initiatives that promote healthy living for the Plymouth School District and community members of all ages.

Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in wellness program development & management required
- Three years of experience as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, or wellness coach required
- Experience with community-based wellness, recreation, or educational programs preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field preferred
