Blending therapeutic treatment with deep relaxation has been Irene’s focus for more than 25 years. A 1997 graduate of the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy (AAIMT), she brings both intuition and versatility to

her work, drawing from a wide range of modalities to meet each client’s unique needs.

Over the course of her career, Irene has earned certifications in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy/Trigger Point Therapy, and Therapeutic Cupping, among others. She is committed to lifelong learning, continually expanding her skills and staying current with advancements in the field to ensure her clients receive the highest quality care.

In addition to her private practice, Irene shares her years of experience as an educator. She teaches massage workshops for individuals, couples, and aspiring therapists—ranging from treatment-focused training to fun date-night classes that help people connect through touch, all designed to make massage more approachable, practical, and deeply rewarding.

Friendly Reminder: Cold & Flu Season Edition 🤧

Massage is a close-contact service. We’re in the same cozy room, sharing the same air, for 60–90 minutes… basically the opposite of “germ-free social distancing.”

Every cold and flu season, I end up having to turn a handful of clients away because they’re “mostly better.” I don’t love doing that, but if I get sick, the whole schedule collapses and I’m home chugging soup instead of helping you feel amazing. 😁

So if you’re still fighting something off, please take the extra day (or three). Rest up, recover fully, and then come melt on my table without spreading whatever mystery cooties your body is fighting off. 🦠

Thanks for keeping my studio a germ-free, feel-good zone. 💚
