PCOS has a new name: PMOS.

Polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS) is now called polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS). This name better reflects the condition's effects on hormones, metabolism and reproductive health. This change was made to improve understanding, reduce misconceptions and support earlier diagnosis and more comprehensive care. The condition itself hasn't changed — only its name.
