Based in Pocatello, Idaho, Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized, comprehensive healthcare leader. With 205 beds, PMC serves as the region’s Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and is home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue. PMC has a level 3 neonatal intensive care unit, an adult Intensive Care Unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, center of excellence recognized surgeons, imaging, primary and specialty care. We pursue excellence every day in our hospital and clinics, as well as educate the next generation of physicians and health professionals. The governance of Portneuf Medical Center is split 50/50 between Portneuf Health Trust and the parent company Ardent Health Services. We welcomed the Pocatello Rotary Club to our campus this afternoon to check out our da Vinci surgical robot!

Drew McRoberts, MD, general and trauma surgeon, presented the technology to the attendees by demonstrating the robot, explaining how it has revolutionized surgery, describing how surgeons are trained to use the robot, and answering questions.

It is time to compare your Medicare plan options for 2027!

The Medicare Advantage & Prescription Drug Plan Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) takes place annually between October 15 and December 7. If you wish to join or change your Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D Prescription Drug plan, you need to submit your enrollment application to the carrier of your choosing no later than December 7.

Those enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan or a standalone Medicare Prescription Drug plan (PDP) may experience changes to their plan benefits and/or premium for 2027.

Carefully review your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) letter sent early October by your Medicare Advantage or PDP plan to verify all changes to your coverage for calendar year 2027.
