August asked a lot of all of us. Thresholds, heat, old things surfacing.

Thank you for showing up anyway, again and again, this whole month. These pics are from our full moon eclipse gathering- what beauty.

Tomorrow I turn a year older, and this year I want to spend closer to this community instead of further from it.

Through September 5, I’m opening ten spots for annual membership at $1,197 for the year. Weekly practice, monthly Thai massage and Reiki gatherings, seasonal workshops, and every recording we’ve made, yours to keep. We rebuilt this place after two floods, and I would love to see it full again.

If what you need is quieter than that, four ninety minute bodywork sessions are also open, prepaid, book them whenever the year asks for rest.

Tonight the moon is beautiful above, and tonight we also gather at 6pm for Yoga Nidra, our last class before we close for the week. And the 7:30 Sheri leads us in a magical sound bath. Come. Be restored ❤️

Eclipse season is almost done.

I do not think it is a coincidence that so much feels unsettled lately, circling, waiting to be seen. Eclipse season does its work to reveal what no longer serves and then it clears.

We do not talk enough about the nerves at the base of the body.

The pudendal nerve runs through the pelvic floor, carrying sensation and control to some of the most guarded, least discussed tissue you have. It is deeply connected to the same nervous system that governs your breath and your sense of safety. When the pelvic floor holds tension, and it often does, especially after loss, birth, surgery, or simply years of sitting braced against a hard world, that tension is not separate from your nervous system. It is part of the same conversation.

Yoga therapy works here too, gently, with full clothing, full consent, and full choice at every moment. This is a class that gives you deeper respect for your anatomy, for the magic of form and breath and emotion, for this art of being embodied. ❤️❤️
