Clean hands are one of the simplest and most powerful ways to protect your health.

Proper hand hygiene helps prevent the spread of germs that can cause illness. Remember to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating, after using the restroom, and after coughing or sneezing.

Remember, a few extra seconds can make a big difference!

Your mental health matters. Taking time to care for your mind is just as important as caring for your body, and prioritizing your mental health isn’t selfish. It’s essential.

Remember, if you’re struggling, reach out to a trusted friend or your health care provider. Your mental well-being is a priority.

Have you ever felt drained after endless scrolling? A social media fast might be just what your mental and physical health needs.

Taking a break from social platforms can help reduce stress, improve sleep and give your brain a chance to reset. Many people find they’re more present, focused and connected to the world around them when they unplug, even for a short time.

Start small and try a few hours a day. Your mental health deserves the pause.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to start conversations, reduce stigma and remind ourselves that mental health is just as important as physical health.

This month, let’s prioritize our mental health, support one another and create a community where it’s okay to talk about how we’re really doing.

If you or someone you know is struggling, don’t wait to reach out.

Do you know how alcohol impacts the brain?

Alcohol can interfere with the brain’s communication pathways, affecting mood, memory, coordination and decision-making. Over time, heavy or frequent use can lead to longer-term changes, including difficulty concentrating, increased anxiety or depression and even lasting damage to brain function.

This Alcohol Awareness Month, take a look at your relationship with alcohol to ensure it's not negatively impacting your overall health.

Stress is something we all experience, but when it becomes chronic, it can take a serious toll on both your physical and mental health.

Ongoing stress can contribute to headaches, trouble sleeping, weakened immunity, high blood pressure and even increase the risk of conditions like heart disease and anxiety or depression. It can also impact your focus, energy levels and overall sense of well-being.

If stress is starting to affect your sleep, mood or energy, it may be time to talk with your primary care provider. They can help identify what’s going on and connect you with the right tools and support to feel better.
