She didn’t set out to become “The Tea Lady.” She just kept following what called to her. Herbs, healing, the land, community, and the kind of work that brings people back to themselves✨
After a fire changed the course of her life in the early ’90s, Maureen began studying herbs. That curiosity grew into Herbal Sage Tea Company and eventually a life rooted in Meigs County, hand blended teas, herbal education, conservation, and more than 30 years of stories worth telling.
There’s so much history here, but what stands out most is the heart behind it all. Caring for the land, sharing knowledge, supporting community, and making really good tea along the way.
