After retirement, Raymond Weitzman, M.D., F.A.C.P., wanted to find a meaningful way to give back. That search led him to the Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic. Twelve years later, he is still here: and still loves seeing patients.

At Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic, education and training partnerships help strengthen compassionate, no-cost care for uninsured Michigan adults.

We are grateful for the students, residents, and clinicians connected with OUWB School of Medicine, Wayne State University Applebaum School of Pharmacy, our resident program, physician assistant program, and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Their dedication brings knowledge, curiosity, and compassion into our community: while helping build the next generation of community-focused healthcare professionals.

Together, these programs help expand access to high-quality medical, dental, optometry, and pharmacy services with dignity and respect.
