Livingston County Health Department is bringing FREE Courage to Quit smoking cessation classes to Prairie Creek Public Library in Dwight.

Classes will be held October 3, October 10, and October 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room at Prairie Creek Public Library, 501 Carriage House Lane, Dwight.

Courage to Quit is designed to help participants build a plan, manage cravings, and feel supported while working toward a smoke-free life. Registration is strongly recommended, but not required. Email [email protected] to register. For more information, call 815-842-5903 or visit www.lchd.us.

💜 August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month

This month, we recognize the strength, dedication, and love of breastfeeding mothers everywhere. Breastfeeding can be a rewarding journey, but it can also come with challenges. Our WIC teams works together with families to create a supportive community where every parent feels encouraged, informed, and empowered to make the best feeding choices for their family.

We are drawing the four winners of our 2026 Summer Sun Meals Feedback Survey! ☀️🍽️

Thank you to everyone who took a few minutes to share your experience with us. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will help us continue improving the Summer Sun Meals Program for families in our community.

📧 Winners will be notified by email by the end of the day Wednesday. Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox!

Each winner will receive a $50 Walmart gift card, generously provided by the Livingston County Mental Health Board. 💙

Selected winners will have until August 28 to respond to their notification email and claim their prize.
