Well... this just got real. 😊

The Port Angeles Library approved my room reservation, so the first Aging Well at Home Community Learning Series workshop is officially happening!

📍 Raymond Carver Room – Port Angeles Library

Our first topic will be:

Understanding ADLs, IADLs & Home Safety

If you've ever wondered...

"Is this just normal aging?"

"When should I start paying attention?"

"How do I even bring this up with Mom or Dad?"
..this workshop is for you.

We'll talk about recognizing changes early, understanding the difference between ADLs and IADLs (don't worry—I promise I'll explain what those letters mean! 😄), and how a little help can often keep someone independent longer.

This is completely free and open to anyone—older adults, family members, caregivers, neighbors, or anyone who just wants to learn more.

I'm honestly pretty excited (and a little nervous!) to finally get this series started. My hope is that people leave feeling a little more confident and a little less overwhelmed when it comes to helping someone they love.

I'd love to see you there.
