Congratulations to CulinArt’s Lindsey Romain, Executive Chef at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, on being selected for Compass Group’s Global Culinary Leadership Program! 👏🌎

Chosen as one of just eight participants worldwide, and one of only two from the U.S., Lindsey will take part in a nine-month leadership development program in partnership with Harvard Business School, designed to prepare the next generation of operational leaders.

Since joining CulinArt in 2015, Lindsey has continued to grow and inspire through her leadership, talent, and passion for culinary excellence.

The CulinArt team at St. Francis Preparatory School recently hosted the school’s annual President’s Dinner, welcoming more than 150 donors for an evening of gratitude and celebration. ✨

The transformed library created an elegant setting for guests to enjoy a refined menu prepared by the talented culinary team and CulinArt Catering Collection chefs. The event’s success was made possible through the collaboration of more than 28 dedicated staff members and partners.

Special thanks to Director of Dining Services Nick Cadmus, Assistant Manager Juanita Serrano, Operations Manager Dorothy Alexatos, Sous Chef Mauricio Cumba, and the entire team for delivering an outstanding experience that earned rave reviews from attendees. 👏

Last week, the team, alongside managers Nicole Price, Joann Mezey, Richard Braverman, and Barry Rosenthal, proudly attended the Sid Jacobsen Jewish Community Center’s annual “Eat. Bid. Believe!” event in support of innovative social service programs ✨

Guests enjoyed delicious bites from our Catering Collection cocktail hour table while taking part in the silent auction and raffle with approximately 500 attendees.

As the dining services partner for SJCC in Greenvale, NY, we were honored be in attendance 💙

On the menu was: 🍩

CulinArt brought the heat—and the heart—to the AISNE Students of Color Conference 🔥

At Regis College, student teams took on our Waste Warrior Challenge, a high-energy, Chopped-style competition where creativity met sustainability. With surprise ingredients, chef mentorship, and a focus on minimizing food waste, these students proved that great flavor and smart cooking go hand in hand.

From cauliflower steaks to chickpea “chorizo” tostadas, every dish told a story—and every team showed what’s possible when collaboration, culture, and purpose come together.

We’re proud to help empower the next generation to think differently about food and its impact 🌎

Celebrating 10 years of with an incredible Waste Warrior Challenge! 🥇

Team 1 was Chef Anthony, Chef Jason, and Chef Jessica with their delicious Fish Chorizo Sopes and their Tropical Aqua Fresca 🤤

Team 2 was Chef Joe, Chef Will, and Chef JC with their Celery Root Jianbing and their Pineapple, Coconut, and Ginger Panna Cotta 🤤

All the food was delicious, but there could only be one team that won for best taste. Our guests tried both teams dishes and voted on their favorite.

It was a close call, but the winners for best taste were Team 2 - Chef Joe, Chef Will, and Chef JC 👏👏👏

Congrats to both teams on a job very well done 🧑‍🍳⭐️
