I had the pleasure of training directly with William Lee Rand, one of the world's leading Reiki teachers, as I continued to deepen and expand my Reiki practice and teaching skills.

✨ End-of-Life Doula Training | 3-Day Workshop ✨
Have you ever felt called to support someone during life’s most sacred transition?

The End-of-Life Doula Training is a three-day immersive experience designed for compassionate individuals who want to learn how to provide meaningful emotional, spiritual, and practical support to those nearing the end of life and the people who love them.

This training prepares participants to offer support in a variety of settings including:

• hospice teams
• long-term care facilities
• assisted living environments
• church volunteer ministries
• supporting family members and Friends

Together we will explore:
• the dying process
• compassionate presence
• communication and family support
• legacy work and meaningful closure
• creating peaceful and dignified transitions

Advance reading and reflective journaling will be provided prior to the training to help prepare participants for a deeper learning experience.

No prerequisites are required.

Jen Willoughby founded Inspired by Jen and the Blue Water Doula Collective, supporting home-centered deathcare and family-led after-death care. The collective educates, mentors, and walks alongside families and death doulas to restore ritual, dignity, and reverence to death.

Blue Water Doula Collective (BWDC) also trains death doulas through mentorship and tiered memberships, serving in-person retreats in Michigan, and regionally by request.

BWDC’s work aligns with the mission of Home Funeral Alliance because of their vision of informed choice, family sovereignty, compassionate care, and education.

Jen wants people to know that this work is about listening, it is about love, and it is about remembering that we belong to each other. Blue Water Doula Collective exists to support sacred endings, conscious caregiving, and the doulas who do this work.
